Whether you are looking to work in the U.S. (H1-B or O-1 visas), or looking to start a new business in the U.S. through investment or trade (E-1, E-2 visas), or just simply excel in your academic career (F-1 and J-1 visas), we can help you to plan your future and visa.

Citizenship and Naturalization

Once you have your green card, your next immigration step is to become a U.S. citizen through a process called naturalization. Depending on your green card type, after 3 or 5 years of issuance of your green card you are eligible for naturalization. You or your child could also be a U.S. citizen through birth to a U.S. citizen as well. Learn more about the process.

Asylum and Escaping Persecution

Under U.S. law, asylum may be granted to aliens who can establish they have well-founded fear of persecution if they were forced to return to country of citizenship or last habitual residence. The persecution must be on account of political opinion, race, religion, nationality, or membership in a particular social group.

Deportation & Removal

Deportation and Removal cases are of the most complicated immigration matters one could have. Essentially, one has already been placed in removal proceedings and must appear in Immigration Court before a judge and convince the court how and why he or she may be eligible for relief from removal/deportation from the United States.

The E-2 visa is an investment-based nonimmigrant visa for entrepreneurs who want to come the United States to open and operate a business. The regulations refer to it as a “Treaty Investor Visa” and this simply means that there must be a treaty between the investor’s country of origin and the United States that allows the investor to apply for the E-2.

The EB5 visa is a way to get a green card through investment in the U.S. The EB-5 investor visa program enables foreigners who make an investment in a U.S. business to obtain a green card and become lawful permanent residents.
